Nothing (Fish Go Deep Remix) - Version

We usually only take on a couple of remixes each year but, in 2010, we worked our way through a whole bunch of them... The Broad Bean Band, Jamie Anderson ft Mr K Alexi, Chymera, Exit Pursued By a Bear and this one, by Charles Webster and Martin Iveson's Version project.

Actual size. Well, almost.'Nothing' features the wonderful voice of Emilie Chick and was a real pleasure to work on. Our little Doepfer Dark Energy monophonic synth had just arrived and we made full use of it in the remix, most obviously in that thick, creamy low line that goes a bit potty towards the end. For such a small piece of kit, it produces a hell of a sound.
